For simplicity just glue post-style earring backs for a quick gift, or if you have time, bead a wonderful edging. You could also use glue-on earring bails so they would dangle, or use them as small pendants. Any way you use them they would make a unique gift!

While I’m figuring out the best way for the camera to attack the vintage Swarovski® crystal acorns I just got in, I thought I’d take a picture of another kind of texture. Though they look heavy, these wonderful hollow brass beads are surprisingly light. I can’t wait to pair them with some crystal rondelles!

Everything old is new again…

…and it is more beautiful than ever.

I’m beginning to sort through some vintage pieces to add to the store, both online and at the Jefferson St. location, and this is just one of the new “old” pretties.  I have a few of these faux jade glass cabochons from the 1940’s and 50’s that were manufactured in Japan. They truly are exquisite. Even if you don’t bead you could just glue a nice bail to the back and have a wonderful pendant! (and the price is too incredible to believe!)
